Forest Certification

Forest certification, also known as timber certification or collectively certification, is a tool that uses market mechanisms to promote sustainable forest management and achieve ecological, social and economic goals. It provides consumers with independent guarantees that forest products come from well-managed forests, and attempts to improve the forest management level and market share by “green consumers” and demand through independent assessment of forest management activities. High-profit operators are connected.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a worldwide non-governmental organization recognized by the world with the goal of achieving sustainable forest development by promoting environmentally friendly, socially harmonious and economically efficient management. As a large organization, FSC does not perform certification work itself. Its main task is to develop standards and to evaluate, authorize and monitor certification bodies.
