Germany
German and food contact materials testing project
Food contact materials exported to Germany must comply with the requirements of the EU Directive and also comply with Articles 30 and 31 of the German Food Sanitation Law (LFGB). Specific test items are:
      1: Test items are required in the EU Directive
      2: Germany requires products that come into contact with food to be carried out
           a sensory test (smell test and taste test) b: peroxide value test
